Lady Gaga's achievements are just coming back-to-back this year. On Tuesday, she won a Sports Emmy for her Super Bowl performance of "Hold My Hand." This just puts her one award away from achieving the coveted EGOT status.

The pop star performed her Top Gun: Mavericktrack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, as a tribute to the 14 people who were killed in a terrorist attack on New Year's Day. She led the emotional performance as she sang behind a piano and was accompanied by first responders, Tom Brady, Michael Strahan, and a local gospel choir.
In addition to last night's win, Mother Monster has 14 Grammy Awards and an Oscar for Best Original Song at the 2019 Academy Awards. Now, all she's missing is a Tony Award, and after her win, she would be the ninth woman to receive EGOT status. Some people are close to clinching the title, but don't have any interest in being on Broadway, but that's not the case for Gaga. She's spoken about wanting to do a stint on Broadway.
Back in March, Gaga appeared on Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers's podcast Las Culturistas and said she was open to creating a new musical for Broadway. "That would give me the ultimate joy — crafting all the music, working with amazing writers on developing the story and the script, and then, you know, the stage design and the costumes. Yeah, and maybe I'd be in it too," the 38-year-old pop star said. She added that all her albums are basically musicals.
But before Gaga can even consider gunning for a Tony, she has a lot on her plate. After just doing two unforgettable weekends at Coachella and performing to a record-breaking two and a half million people in Brazil, she is doing two performances in Singapore and then embarking on her latest world tour, The Mayhem Ball, in July with the first show taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
