Tom Daley is looking sharp in blue!
Team Great Britain has released the first images of the fits their athletes will be wearing at the upcoming Olympic games in Paris this summer, and out diver Tom Daley is representing the divers with his whole chest (and more)!
"The pride and passion I feel when representing my country on the biggest sporting stage is second to none, so to unveil a kit that encompasses what this moment means is incredibly special," Daley said in a statement. "I cannot wait to proudly wear it in Paris this summer, alongside my fellow teammates."
"We've always been working on the fit and the material and to make sure they're as comfy as possible so that we can perform at our best. For diving, you want to make sure everything's in place and you don't need anything going awry, especially when you're spinning around. You hit the water at 35 miles an hour so you don't need anything in weird places," PinkNews also reports he said.
Daley, age 29, won the gold medal in the men's synchronized 10-meter platform dive at the 2020 Olympics. He's also won three bronze medals, two for 10-meter platform at both the 2012 and 2020 Olympics, and one for synchronized diving at the 2016 Olympics. He's the first British diver to win four Olympic medals.
After the 2020 Olympics, Daley took a break from the sport for about two years before he came back in the 2023 British National Diving Cup, where he won the gold medal in the 10-meter platform synchro event alongside Noah Williams.
He'll be seeking more medals at the Paris Olympics this summer.
