Jenna Ortega has the perfect idea for Wednesday season 2.
While being interviewed on the red carpet at this year's Golden Globes, Wednesday star Jenna Ortega answered a question about a pop singer that's been on a lot of fans' minds.
When a reporter for Variety brought up Ortega's viral dance from the show and how people had added audio of Lady Gaga's 2011 song "Bloody Mary" to it, she also suggested that maybe Mother Monster herself would be a perfect fit to join the delightfully spooky show.
"I'm sure Netflix would love that," Ortega smiled. When the reporter followed up and asked Ortega what kind of role she thinks Gaga would play, she had a great answer.
"Ooh, I'm not sure. I feel like, Mrs. Thornhill (season one's antagonist) and Wednesday have this weird kind of mentor relationship, or kind of understood each other in a way," she said. "So if Lady Gaga were to be a part, I think they would have to be two monsters that understand each other."

Now that would leave us gagging!!! Please bring Gaga in to play a misunderstood monster at Nevermore Academy!
Gaga wasn't entirely absent from the first season of the hit Netflix show. In the fourth episode, Wednesday attends a school dance and performs a dance that Ortega choreographed herself.
Clips of the dance started going viral on TikTok, with fans matching the dance to Lady Gaga's song "Bloody Mary." Eventually, even Gaga herself joined in on the trend, doing Wednesday's choreography to her classic song.
Because of the connection, and just how perfectly Gaga and Wednesday fit together, fans of both have been begging for more collaborations between the pop star and the hit show.
Wednesday has been officially renewed at Netflix, so there's a chance we could get to see this dream collaboration become reality!
