David Rose as a teacher? Yes, please!
Fans love Netflix's Sex Education for its frank, realistic, and hilarious depictions of high school romance and sex. BuzzFeed spoke to the cast of Netflix's Sex Education to celebrate the release of season three of the show, and the cast revealed some delicious bon mots!
The show follows Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), the son of a sex therapist who sets up his own sex clinic at his high school. It's got a great cast that includes a gay couple, Eric and Adam, who progressed from bully-victim to blowjob in the band room in season two.
It turns out we're not the only fans of the show, and in fact, some superstars make sure not to miss an episode. BuzzFeed found out about one specific fan, who even slid into one of the star's DMs asking for a role on the show.
"From what I remember correctly, Dan Levy spoke to [Asa] and said how much he liked the show and that he would like to be a substitute teacher," Mimi Keene, who plays Ruby on the show, revealed. "Him playing David in Schitt's Creek is like one of my favorite things ever -- it got me through some tough times seriously."
"I'm pretty sure he's a fan of the show," she continued, "I was really vibing that, and I hope we go ahead with another season and it happens."
Keene isn't the only one who'd love to see Levy join the cast, even just for one episode. Connor Swindells, who plays Adam, one of the show's queer characters, is also a Dan Stan.
"I would love Dan Levy to come on and play a substitute teacher," he agreed. "I'm a massive fan. I think he's tremendous and a wonderful person and I think that the would be an amazing addition to the Sex Education cast if the stars were to align."
Let's get those stars moving, because this is one guest appearance we'd love to see!
Sex Education season three is now streaming on Netflix.
